ok who is the asshole thats been playing my char and now he/she got my account banned ?

you had to have done something seriously wrong to get your toon banned.

thing is i did not do anything i have not logged my char in for 6 months ans now its banned.

who is your toon and who all had access?

my chars name is Selaine and its a Cleric and the only one that had accsess is Kentaro.
and the thing is i dont know if its banned or just suspended and i want to know what he/she did to get me banned.

I was in the US the past 10 days. (Sept. 7-18 ) I will gladly scan my flight tickets in for you and i don't even remember your logins anymore, matter of fact, I barely remember your name.

Don't even try to put this on me. Check with SOE first and have them check the ip adresses from which your account was logged in and then come here and start accusing.

Hopefully perma-banned after what I saw.

i did not accuse you of anything only said that you where the only one that had my info.
maybe you gave to someone else and if you didint you only had to say so.

well i guess it was banned after having abused various channels with hours of spam sometime last week

Someone you gave details to, or obtained them, spammed pok, all the general channels, a few private channels etc & used Selaine (& a ehole bunch of other toon names off the same account i guess) to do it with, constantly repeating "please report bad people" for hours & hours.

I didn't think it was the original owner but if you have a list of those ppl you entrusted your details to, I'd look there first.

The other thing to bear in mind is if you sent your infos to anyone via a bulletin board PM, hackers often crack into bulletin boards.

Also, most of the server has your name on ignore now. And that of probably any other character on your account.

This thread smells fabricated, why didnt you use the PM function instead of creating a slander thread against Kentaro?

I do believe that I have seen similar threads in the past where newly created accounts like yourselves suddenly pops up here and makes an accusation or flame towards Kentaro, now I am not defending the lad, but your post reeks of bullshit.

I do remember a Selaine, but as i said - I was in the US with no access to EQ and very limited access to internet.

you can check on soe webpage if its perma banned or just for some time.

write them a mail tell them it was not you on your char,etc..

but wow,the spamming was going on for quite some time,and a hell lot of ppl reported it !!

I'd think SOE banned the account temporarily to be able to stop the spam until the actual owner shows up.

Their is no point in accusing anyone, like has been mentioned if you gave details of your password even in private messages on boards such as this or any other bulletin type boards - details can be found out by people who can hack the boards as it happend to UK a few year ago & people had their accounts comprimised.

Selaine, Sony can check the IP infomation & compare to see if you were the one doing the spammage or not, someone in our guilld had their account stolen & were banned, but he managed to get his account back once the GM/Sony Reps looked further into it.

If you want to be 100% sure - never ever give out your account details to anyone, if you do for flagging purposes then I suggest you change your password one the purpose has been fulfilled.

One thing puzzles me.

You've not played in 6 months but within a day or 2 of all the spammage you know you've been banned.

How does this work?
